What’s up with the engineering team and what’s the long term plan?

I really liked the team and platform metrics part.
Qs:
When do you want to have these metrics working? I see that the Rock only covers having a document by the end of the Q. I understand that later the metrics should be set up, so it seems a long time before getting value from this.
How do you see this slow down projects after WP release competing with our WP evolution and App implementation of Wanderlust in the roadmap?
You are right. For now, I will figure out how to track those metrics and which are really interesting for us, because many of them will require implementation and I don’t want to take resources from the current goal (WP).
The slow down step should not impact that much on the daily duties. If we really can use the cool downs for this kind of things and include bigger pains as pitches, we should be able to manage the situation, but let’s see how many really big pains we have and how big they are 🙂

A question that I have in mind, related to the importance of the moment and the pause in the plan, do you think that we the juniors are prepared to bring value to WanderPress?
I ask this obviously, counting on the attitude, the ownership and the accountability on our part.
You are already adding value 🙂
Remember everything you do is something a senior can avoid to focus on other stuff.

Great presentation Jaime, and I especially like the vision for tracking more numbers to measure our performance. Regards to those related to tickets resolve time and amount of tickets you can count on me and Earl to help you get those 🙂

How do you see what Ownership means and what Accountability means for the team? I think these are terms that we assume everyone agrees on the definition and I’m interested to know your thoughts.
I’m also interested in your personal feelings and learnings in this quarter, in terms of the challenges that you have faced leading the team from a position of more strategic responsibility than perhaps you had before.
